The Wadadli Initiative for Self-care and Healing (WISH) has issued a call for greater focus on mental health following the tragic death of Senior Sergeant Iyo Malone, a member of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda. Reports suggest that the officer, a beloved member of the community, may have taken her own life.
In a statement, WISH expressed deep condolences to the family, friends, colleagues, and the Potters community as they cope with the loss. “Our hearts go out to Senior Sergeant Malone’s family, her colleagues in the police force, and the entire Potters community during this devastating time,” the organization said.
